Verona is a super cuddly Pitt/Plott Hound mix who is about 2 or 3 years old.
We took her to the grassy pen to play and she had a blast!
Most of the time Verona would toss up the toys and catch them on her own, or hit the ball away with her paws just to chase after it again. We did very little tossing for her!
She working on learning sit reliably and takes treats ever so gently from your fingers.
Her fur is so soft its like velvet when you pet her, and she is content to just sit beside you while you rub her head and back.
Verona is one of our super house-trained dogs which means she reliably waits to use the bathroom until she is taken outside by a volunteer, which means her transition to a home life should be much smoother and you wont be house-training from scratch!
Would you please come see Verona at APS? She is always attentive when people walk by and as soon as you grab her harness she is ready and eager to go for a walk and get lots of petting and hugs.
I always love coming to walk Verona at the shelter because she is fun to walk and just so loving. She is very attentive to you and just soaks up any love (and treats) you give her like a sponge!
